I live in beautiful San Rafael, California where I enjoy near-daily hiking with my big black lab, "Baker." When not working or hiking, I am busy with nature photography, reading about learning and the brain, or fixing up the house. My eldest daughter, Elana, attends Mount Holyoke College in western Massachusetts and my youngest, Michaela, is a high school senior right here with me at the Urban School.
We moved here from Seattle in the summer of 1999 when
I accepted employment with The Urban School of San
Francisco.
